The Grandeur of Perfume Oil

By Jade HoneywellPerfume oils are used around the world. Essentially, they are concentrated forms of perfume. People have been making fragrances for centuries. Perfume oils just provide a powerful aroma within the convenience of a tiny bottle, perfect for your purse or fashion handbag.

Perfume oil can come in different varieties, ingredient wise. One thing people enjoy the most about these wonderful liquids is the high amount of aromatic compounds. The more aromatic the perfume oil the longer and stronger the scent will be.

Perfume oils provide the highest concentration of aromatic compounds when compared to other fragrance choices. You will find many typical perfume oils contain 20 - 40% of pure aromatic compounds, while a typical cologne carries only 2% - 5%.

It’s clear perfume oil is the best choice for any time you want your fragrance to last after you put it on. It can sometimes be annoying when you spend a lot of money on a perfume and it just doesn’t seem to last for any time at all. With perfume oil this problem is completely eliminated. Not only will the scent generally be stronger depending on what kind of oil you use, but you’ll also be able to actually enjoy it through the day.

When you’re looking to purchase perfume oil it’s always best to get a feel for the selection available to you. There are many different perfumeries across the world that make perfume oil. The ingredients and intensity of the oil can vary from perfume house to perfume house. Try a few to see which one suits you best. The more you try then the closer you will be to that perfect fragrance that you’ve been looking for.

When it comes to ingredients, make sure you check them closely so that you can get an idea of what kind of perfume oil it is. Sometimes the ingredients won’t be shown. In this case, you’ll have to be the judge as to whether you still want to go with it or not. For example, some products have been known to be listed as aromatherapy products but do not have true aromatherapy ingredients.

Perfume oil is the perfect solution for someone who doesn’t want to have to keep re-applying fragrances all the time. The concentrated nature of perfume oil gives it wonderful, long-lasting benefits.

Best Way to Apply Perfume Oil

By Shadia Shakoor

People who have started using perfumes oils fully understand that perfume oils are the best way to smell lovely and at the same time save a lot of money. But figuring out how to apply the oils for the best results can be a mission in itself because perfume oils don’t come in a spray bottle, they normally come in tiny bottles with a roller ball. So I thought I would mention a few ways I choose to apply my perfume oils, and trust me I get loads of compliments.

The best way by far to apply a perfume oil is to roll out a generous amount of perfume in one palm, rub both hands together so that the perfume oil has completely covered both palms and now wipe your palms against your clothes and neck. Two main parts to cover are the shoulders and the chest. I tend to apply 5-6 times which really gives me good lasting. This also helps keep my hands smelling nice which really gives a good impression when I shake hands with people. One thing to bear in mind when applying the perfume oil through this method is not to stain your clothes and the way to make sure is to ensure you have rubbed your hands properly.

Another way to apply perfume oil is to follow the above method and apply on your body rather than clothing.

You can also roll out the perfume on pulse points like the neck and the wrist.

One thing you need to avoid doing is rolling out the oil directly on clothing or applying it without rubbing your hands properly because it will stain clothes. It may seem obvious to many but people do complain that the perfume oil stained their clothes, well, it will do if its not applied correctly. Its an oil, there is no alcohol in it for it to evaporate.
